  • Patients using Pradaxa may have blood cough or vomit. They may also experience vomit that looks like coffee grounds.
  • Patients using Pradaxa may develop severe headache, dizziness, fainting, unusual or persistent tiredness or weakness.
  • Another serious side effect of this drug is bloody, black or tarry stools.
  • Patients on this drug may develop vision changes, confusion or slurred speech.
  • Use of Pradaxa could cause weakness on one side of the patient’s body.

  • Its use could also produce pinpointed spots on skin, which are red or purple.
  • The most severe side effect of Pradaxa is heavy and unstoppable bleeding, which could even result in the death of patient.
